Pro-sure358 high security mesh panel fencing systems
Procter’s Pro-Sure 358 mesh fencing is engineered for high-security environments such as prisons, data centres and utilities.
The close aperture mesh design prevents climbing and tool access, offering maximum protection. Manufactured to BS EN standards and installed by our in-house specialists.
Pro-sure358 high-security mesh panel fencing systems are designed for a wide range of applications, from maximum security to providing peace of mind. Our 358 mesh, with a 75 x 12.5 x 4mm fabric, is often referred to as “prison mesh fencing” due to its small apertures, which make it impossible for intruders to find a foothold for climbing or cutting. Our Pro-sure358 mesh fencing can reach heights of up to 6m, with a minimum height of 2m.

Compare Pro-sure358 with Palisade Fencing
In security terms, high-security mesh panel fencing has two specification advantages over palisade which, in certain situations, may make it a better solution:
- It can be higher – up to 6m
- Like Palisade, it is difficult to climb, but unlike palisade, it is impossible to pass most objects through it because of the small mesh size
Posts are made from steel hollow sections to suit the height of the mesh fence panels, with the mesh overlapped and secured with full-length clamp bars and security fixings.
Finish for both posts and the 358 fencing mesh panels are galvanised and polyester coated in any one of a wide range of standard RAL colours, with non-standard colours are also being available as required.

An Introduction to Sound Proof Fencing
There is mounting evidence that noise pollution can have serious impacts on the health and wellbeing of those living close to excessive noise. In fact, the World Health Organisation suggest traffic noise alone is harmful to the health of almost every third person in Europe, with one in five regularly exposed to sound levels at night that could significantly damage their health.
As this issue of noise pollution becomes an increasingly prominent problem in densely populated modern environments, acoustic sound barriers are seen and been proven to be the most effective solution to reduce excessive and unwanted noise.
Our acoustic fence panels are suitable for a range of applications, ranging from residential, schools and transport to sports venues, commercial and industrial.
The systems are both flexible and bespoke, meaning they can be adapted to design requirements and supplied in varying heights and widths to suit the project requirements. Furthermore, they are suitable for uneven or sloping ground.

Palisade fencing Security

Manufactured in galvanised steel with optional powder coating, our palisade systems offer excellent visibility and durability. We supply and install to BS EN standards, ensuring compliance and long-term protection for critical infrastructure.
Palisade fencing comprises of robust vertical steel pales secured to horizontal rails to form panels that mount on steel RSJ support posts. It is a popular type of perimeter security fencing when there is a need for higher security and vandal resistance. Difficult to cut and climb because of the high-strength materials and lack of footholds, palisade is a great choice when the primary concern is to keep intruders out.
The steel pales of Procter Contracts palisade fencing can be D-section, W-section for higher security or other sections are also available on request. Pale material thickness depends on the fence height, and the pale head style options are rounded, rounded and notched, single-spiked or splayed triple-spiked. Standard palisade fencing fixings are galvanised steel bolts with tamper-resistant shear nuts, or stainless steel rivets can be used to provide higher security.
Why use palisade fencing?
One of the advantages of palisade over some other types of fencing is that it is easy to add extra security measures. Options range from barbed wire, razor wire and rotating toppings, through to monitored electric pulse fencing, concrete sills and buried pales. The gaps between the pales provide visibility for CCTV or viewing by security guards, provided the angle of incidence is not too great.

Properly installed, palisade fencing offers long, maintenance-free security fence. Nevertheless, should the steel palisade fence sustain any damage, we can readily replace individual pales or complete panels.
How do you use palisade fencing?

Depending on the project requirements, Procter Contracts can install palisade fencing in heights ranging from 0.9 to 4.0 m on flat, sloping or undulating ground. The standard finish is long-lasting, corrosion-resistant galvanising to BS EN ISO 1461, or we can add polyester powder coating in a range of standard or custom colours of black, green and many more colours.
What are the key features of Procter’s palisade fencing?
Our steel palisade fencing are all steel, highly versatile and provides good security thanks to its cut-resistance and climb-resistance. It comes in a variety of specifications and finishes. Our high-security palisade fencing complies with BS 1722-12 (Fences – Specification for steel palisade fences) – whereas some cheaper palisade fencing from other suppliers is not compliant. In addition, our palisade meets National Grid’s NG TS 2.22 (Technical specifications – Perimeter security fencing for substations and other operational compounds).

Procter Pro-twin 868 offers market-leading, high-quality sport fencing designed for a variety of applications, including sports, MUGA, leisure, and school settings. Its innovative design provides excellent rebound characteristics, eliminating the need for rebound boards and ensuring safety for users of all ages.
Pro-Twin 868, also referred to as sports rebound fencing or ball stop fencing, is reinforced for the first 1.2 m above ground level to withstand impacts from balls and people who come into contact with the fencing. Furthermore, the galvanised and powder coated finish shrugs off repeated impacts so it continues to look good and protect against corrosion for many years without the need for repainting or retensioning.
Pro-Twin 868: Robust Sport Fencing Solutions
Our Pro-Twin 868 fencing system comprises fully-welded panels of wire mesh fabricated from vertical 6 mm diameter wires and twin horizontal 8 mm wires either side of the verticals. For the lower 1.2 m of the fence, the mesh size is 50 mm wide by 66.5 mm high; above 1.2 m the vertical spacing is 200 mm (all dimensions are nominal). The combination of twin-wire configuration, large-diameter wires and small mesh size for the lower 1.2 m ensures that balls rebound back into play – and the risk of injury for players is also minimised should they contact the fence.
Standard fence heights range from 3.0 to 5.0 m (other heights are available on request), with post centres at 2.52 m. Panels and posts are galvanised and powder coated for a long, maintenance-free life. Fences are normally finished in green or black, but other colours can be supplied to order.
To secure the panels to the posts, our Pro-Twin 868 system features clamp bars and zinc-plated domed screws to present a virtually flush finish for the play side of the fencing. Optional security fasteners can be specified to provide additional protection against tampering and vandalism.
To complement the Pro-Twin 868 sport fencing we can manufacture, supply and install access gates in standard or bespoke sizes and with the same rebound characteristics. In addition, we can add goal recesses, basketball backboards, rings and nets, or other features requested by the client.

What are the key features of sport fencing?
Procter Pro-Twin 868 mesh fencing system is highly robust and longlasting, comprising prefabricated welded mesh panels and RHS (rectangular hollow section) steel posts. The posts are set in concrete and the panels attached to the post using clamp bars and zinc-plated screws that fasten into threaded inserts factory-installed in the posts. As a result, our installation teams spend the minimum amount of time on site.
Fence heights of 3.0, 4.0, 4.5 or 5.0 m are available, or we can produce other heights to order. Post centres are 2.52 m and the RHS steel post sections are 80×40, 100×50 or 120×60 mm, depending on the fence height.
The clamp bars and zinc-plated domed screws present a virtually flush finish for the play side of the fencing. Optional security fasteners can be specified to provide additional protection against tampering and vandalism.
All of our Pro-twin 868 fencing is galvanised and powder coated for long-term corrosion resistance and an excellent maintenance-free aesthetic. Standard colours are green RAL 6005 and black RAL 9005, but panels, post and clamp bars can alternatively be finished in other RAL colours.
