Recycled plastic knee rails
Restrict vehicle movements and encourage pedestrians
Knee rail is a simple, cost-effective way to mark boundaries, restrict vehicle movements and encourage pedestrians to use certain areas in preference to others.
Recycled plastic is totally weatherproof, requires no maintenance and will not crack, rot or splinter. Knee rail made from this material is therefore particularly suitable for areas where children will be present, such as playgrounds and schools.
Our recycled plastic knee rail fencing, also known as birdsmouth fencing, features 90 x 90 mm posts and rails, with galvanised steel straps to secure the rails to the posts.

Available in brown or black, the posts and rails are self-coloured to ensure a long-lasting, aesthetic finish.
Door canopies
Choice of styles and sizes
Entrance canopies are popular for new builds as well as retrofits. Our range of standard canopies offers a choice of styles and sizes, and the modular design enables different sizes of the canopy to be manufactured very easily. Alternatively, we can design, manufacture and install bespoke canopies, working from your outline sketches, an architect’s detailed designs or anything in between.
Practical and versatile, our door canopies benefit from UV-stabilised clear PETG sheet that allows light to pass through while providing protection from the elements. In most cases, we utilise galvanised steel for the main structure, with optional polyester powder coating in any BS or RAL colour. However, our aluminium door canopy is a lighter design for wall-fixing, with a standard black powder coating or optional BS or RAL colours.

In addition to providing shelter outside doorways, our canopies can be used as smoking shelters, pedestrian walkways or as covered play areas for children.
Seating shelters
Protected from the worst of the weather
Our seating shelter design is equally at home in schools, parks and other public spaces. Young and old alike appreciate seating shelters as somewhere to meet or rest while being protected from the worst of the weather.
The design features integral seating and a curved roof, resulting in an attractive contemporary style that is robust and durable. The frame, seating and panels are manufactured from steel with a long-lasting galvanised finish to prevent corrosion, and the option of a tough polyester powder coating in BS or RAL colours.
The modular design means we can configure the seating shelter to suit your requirements.

We can also design, manufacture and install fully bespoke seating shelters if you have particular needs.
Open spaces smoking shelters
Comply with UK and Irish regulations
Smoking shelters protect smokers from the elements. With smoking outlawed in enclosed workplaces and public buildings, the employers and other organisations need to provide smoking shelters outdoors.
Our smoking shelters feature aluminium alloy frames with UV-stabilised clear PETG side panels and roofing. To comply with UK and Irish regulations, only the top half of the smoking structure sides is infilled. However, note that full compliance also requires correct positioning of the smoking shelter relative to other structures.
The aluminium framework is finished with a tough, long-lasting polyester powder coating. Our standard colour is grey but other BS or RAL colours can be specified when ordering. Adjustable flanged feet simplify installation on uneven surfaces.
The modular design enables different sizes of smoking shelter to be manufactured very easily, with the maximum length being 6m.

We can also design, manufacture and install fully bespoke smoking shelters if you have particular requirements.
Waiting shelters
Attractive, robust and durable
Procter waiting shelters are attractive, robust and durable, yet also very cost-effective when you need somewhere for people to be protected from the wind and rain. If required, we can provide internal seating for additional comfort.
Frames can be either steel or aluminium, with a tough, long-lasting polyester powder coated finish. Our standard colour is black but almost any other colour is available upon request. Glazing is UV-stabilised and vandal-resistant clear PETG sheeting, while roof panels are clear polycarbonate. Adjustable flanged feet simplify installation on uneven surfaces.
The modular design enables different sizes of waiting shelter to be manufactured very easily, with the maximum length being 6 m. However, we can also design, manufacture and install fully bespoke waiting shelters if you have particular requirements.

Note that this waiting shelter design is not compliant with the UK and Irish smoking shelter regulations, but we offer a separate range of fully compliant smoking shelters.
Walkways
Stylish and practical
Walkway canopies are remarkably versatile for new builds and retrofits – they can, for example, connect buildings, protect walkways alongside buildings, or link buildings to car parks. Our covered walkways are stylish and practical, as well as long-lasting and virtually maintenance-free.
Thanks to their modular design, the walkways can be adapted to suit any site. You can also choose between galvanised mild steel with polyester powder coating in any BS or RAL colour, or we offer stainless steel walkways. Roof panels are manufactured from UV-stabilised transparent PETG sheet.
Further options for our standard covered walkways include side panels and guttering.

Alternatively, we can design, manufacture and install fully bespoke walkways, working from your sketches, a written brief or an architect’s detailed drawings.
Trolley Shelter
Keep trolleys dry and organised at all times
Trolley shelters and parks were simple and functional affairs, with little or no attention paid to their aesthetic value. However, as supermarket chains came under pressure from planners to erect buildings, we saw a change in approach to the humble trolley corrals and trolley ports, as they are also referred to in the industry.
The standard Procter Trolley Shelter will keep shopping trolleys dry and organised at all times. With a contemporary modular design, this shelter is designed to fit within a standard car parking space. Extension bays can be added to the shelter to increase the storage available as required.
Manufactured from mild steel and 5mm UV stabilised PETG roofing, all of our standard trolley shelters are galvanised to ensure their longevity.

Shelters can be colour coated as required in any BS or RAL colour.
