Procter Contracts offer a wide range of bike storage lockers in horizontal, vertical and tapered styles that can be combined to provide storage for single use or multiple bicycles.
We supply, manufacture and install a range of bicycle lockers that provide more protection than conventional racks, stands, shelters and compounds, especially where high-security cycle parking is required, If full weather protection or greater security is required, our bike storage lockers feature sheet steel panelling that can either be galvanised or powder coated in your choice of colour.
Our PMM cycle locker securely stores up to six bicycles and can be extended by adding more bays. The vertically bike storage lockers are particularly space-efficient when several are arranged together. Our mesh storage lockers are fabricated from mild steel, with a galvanised coating to prevent corrosion. The mesh lockers can be padlocked for security but provide no protection against the weather or prying eyes. An introduction to bicycle parking stands
As a general guide, bicycle stands are usually installed near a main entrance where it is convenient for cyclists, and in a visible area. This helps to cut down on bike theft and also raises the profile of your cycle scheme, which in turn encourages more users, workers and pupils to cycle to their destination.
To help decide the best possible position for your bike stand, during our consultation phase, Procter Contracts will conduct a free site visit and survey the grounds.
Bicycles can be secured to the stands or racks using cyclists’ own locks. Different styles of rack and stand are fixed to the wall or floor as appropriate, and some products are suitable for single bicycles or pairs, while others accept multiple bikes. Our bike stands and racks can be supplied with either ragged feet for casting-in or flanged feet for fastening to suitable surfaces.
How are our bike storage solutions made?
Procter’s high quality metal bike stands are manufactured from mild steel with a long-lasting galvanised finish, we can also apply a durable polyester powder coat on top of the galvanised steel with a colour of your choosing.

Commercial and public standard illuminated bollards

Procter illuminated bollards are suitable for all areas accessible to the public, from city squares, public parks to university campuses and hotel grounds. The highly robust construction and design are manufactured to all relevant standards thus ensuring the longevity of the PGFC9000i in the most challenging environments. The 70W SON-E lamp is housed in an aluminium light diffuser which is protected by a polycarbonate sleeve. The illuminated bollard is rated to IP54 and is CE Marked.
Finish – Available in a ragged only finish and in black (as standard) or a range of RAL colours. Also available in an elegant and stylish stainless steel finish.
The Stainless Steel Illuminated Bollard has the same internal specification and range of applications.

Available in various diameter size and heights to suit specific applications. The finishes can be hot-dip galvanised or polyester powder-coat over the galvanised finish for added protection to any RAL or special colour.
Padlocked and hinged parking posts
Extremely durable and reliable design
Procter range of parking posts solves the headache of managing to park in residential and other privately owned car parks. All of our posts are durable and reliable, and the wide choice means we have something to suit every application.
Depending on your requirements, we can supply and install padlocked parking posts, locking hinged parking posts and stealth parking posts that retract to be flush with the surrounding surface. In addition, our sprung parking posts mark the edges of parking areas; the post is deflected if nudged, yet it returns to the upright position when the vehicle moves away.
Most of our parking posts are available in a choice of finishes. Galvanising provides long-lasting protection against corrosion, and we offer an additional high-visibility yellow polyester powder coat, or customers may specify other BS or RAL colours.
Available in galvanised and galvanised and coated finishes, and is available either ragged for casting into concrete or flanged for bolting down.

Recycled plastic bollards have become increasingly popular in recent years, and this partly driven by the larger amounts of household plastics which now find their way to recycling facilities and therefore more products are being manufactured from the raw material. This has also resulted in a wealth of different designs for recycled plastic bollards, plus it has also made them a relatively cost-effective solution.
Highway Standard reflective bands can replace the existing reflective bands.

Removable posts and bollards
Extremely simple and effective way to prevent unauthorised parking
Procter removable posts are the ideal alternative where ground conditions preclude the use of retractable posts. As with our retractable posts, the removable posts and removable bollards are a simple and cost-effective way to prevent unauthorised vehicular access or parking.
All of our removable posts are manufactured from heavy-gauge steel with a galvanised finish for a long, maintenance-free life. Options include a high-visibility yellow powder coated finish or red and white reflective tape. We also supply and install stainless steel removable posts.
Our range includes ground-locking and padlockable removable posts.
If required, additional ground sockets provide a convenient and secure means of storing the posts when they are not in use.
Padlock, ground lock and telescopic retractable posts

Procter retractable posts are a simple, elegant and cost-effective solution, if you need to prevent vehicular access but occasionally allow free passage, perhaps for maintenance. They are also popular for preventing unauthorised parking on private driveways.
We supply and install a choice of styles to suit every requirement, and all models are manufactured from heavy-gauge steel with a galvanised finish for a long, reliable and maintenance-free life. Some of the round styles are optionally available with a stainless steel post.
Our range includes locking retractable posts, retractable bollards, padlockable retractable posts, ground locking retractable posts and telescopic retractable posts. You can choose from round or square posts in various heights.
All retractable posts are manually operated, and the larger sizes benefit from a lift-assist mechanism that makes it easier to raise the post from the retracted position.
Recycled plastic fencing
An excellent material is totally weatherproof
Recycled plastic is an excellent material for fencing because it is totally weatherproof, requires no maintenance and it will not crack, rot or splinter. Fencing made from this 100% recycled HDPE is therefore particularly suitable for areas used by children, such as playgrounds, schools and theme parks. As the material is self-coloured and UV-stabilised, it will not fade in sunlight.
Our range of recycled plastic fencing products includes knee rail fencing, picket fencing and matching picket gates. Knee rail is offered in brown or black, while picket fencing and gates come in a wider choice of colours as well as ‘rainbow’ – which is a popular choice for play areas.
