Timber bollards
Low cost and bespoke designs
Procter timber bollards are typically just used for demarcation, as obviously they do not provide the strength of either a steel or concrete bollard. However, a plus side of timber bollards is low cost and also the fact that entirely bespoke designs are easily fashioned.

Recycled plastic planters
Weatherproof, no crack, rot, splinter or corrode
Recycled plastic planters are totally weatherproof, require no maintenance and they will not crack, rot, splinter or corrode, unlike timber or steel planters. As the material is self-coloured and UV-stabilised, it will not fade in sunlight.
Planters can be filled with trimmed shrubs for a neat aesthetic, or bedding plants and/or trailing plants to add colour and provide a softer ambience.
Our planters are made from 100% recycled HDPE and are offered in a range of sizes, styles and colours to suit different environments – such as bistros, pubs, parks, public areas, schools and commercial properties.

All of our recycled plastic planters are supplied fully assembled, ready for use.

Automatic bollards boost your site’s safety
Supplement security and protect vulnerable areas
Automatic bollards are used in particular doorways which can be vulnerable to being rammed by a vehicle.
Automatic bollards are also often referred to as telescopic bollards, the basic idea is that bollard can be lowered so it is below the ground surface. Applications are typically for either security or controlled access reasons – e.g. the entrance to a pedestrianised town centre area.

Designed to control the access of vehicles to residential areas and commercial properties, Procter Automatic Bollards are manufactured from high-quality stainless or galvanised steel. These bollards are available in diameters of 127mm or 275mm and heights of 600mm or 800mm to suit customer needs. All Procter Automatic Bollards are compatible with a variety of different control mechanisms including remote controls, keypads and swipe cards. Procter recommends that bollards are placed no further than 1,200mm apart to ensure no vehicle may pass between them.

- Designed for intensive use.
- Standard finish is anthracite grey (painted).
- Other colours are available – RAL numbers must be supplied.

* Induction Loop and Vehicle detectors
Inductive loop detectors or potoelectric cell systems control the barrier by detectiing vehicles. Inductive loops detect the interactive field change of a vehicle as it passes over its wound cable ‘loop’. Photoelectric cells use a reflective beam, ‘sensing’ an object when the beam is broken.
* Remote Controls
Push buttons and switches provide easy local control of the barrier, for barrier systems that are permanently manned. Alternatively, a key switch can be fitted to the barrier cabinet with control override raise & lower commands (key may be removed at any position).
* Card Technology
Magnetic stripe and proximity card technologies provide the ideal solution for controlling access for a large number of users. Each card is encoded with a site code and an individual number, providing very secure access control and easy system management. Timed allocation and capture (Magnetic stripe only) systems are also available.
* Intercom/Video
Intercom systems provide easy remote verification before allowing visitor access. The only effective system for providing visitor access to a site. Site Surveys are advised for all automatic systems to ensure correct, safe operation and the most suitable control combinations are selected. Suitable signage is recommended to ensure drivers and pedestrians are aware of automatic barrier operation. Safe provision should always be allowed for pedestrians where required.
When rising bollards are used, we can also install a wide range of options for access control, such as key switch, keypad and card reader, or remote control and monitored via CCTV. Other access control systems are available, please ask for more information.
Anti-terrorist bollards can also be supplied, or view all bollards options.

Door safety barriers and hoop barriers
Prevent doors from opening too far and damaging the door itself
Door barriers prevent doors from opening too far and damaging the door itself, the wall or anything adjacent to the wall. They can be used indoors or outdoors and are either installed singly or in pairs for double doors. A rubber buffer on the door stop prevents the surface of the door from being damaged when it comes into contact with the stop.
Door safety barriers are constructed from mild steel with a galvanised finish for long-lasting protection, they can optionally have a tough polyester powder coat applied in your choice of colour. A further option is infill panels that improve visibility; these can also be galvanised or powder coated. If required, we can also supply stainless steel door barriers or stops.
Two styles of door hoop barriers are offered, standard and slim, and both are available with ragged feet for casting into concrete or flanged feet for fastening to suitable surfaces.
